This event is an opportunity for all emergency managers who may be students, new members and/or new attendees to connect with emergency management professionals who specifically have indicated they are interested in hiring or offering internships to new emergency managers in the emergency management and related fields. All emergency managers are required to bring business cards. Business casual attire is required.

Once you’ve identified that exciting job opportunity, ever wonder how you could make yourself more competitive? We will provide information on finding the right job for your interests, outlining strategies for making yourself more marketable to recruiters, crafting an effective resume, and discussing ways to prepare for interviews.

Bring a copy of your resume and a winning smile! During this time you will receive individual feedback and have an opportunity to ask specific questions regarding techniques. Participants must sign up in the bookstore for available time slots.
